Non-custodial parents whose support obligations have been paid in full and whose cases are closed, seeking review of the original judgment, payment accounting and any legally available remedies.
Non-custodial parents who have made payments but still face an outstanding judgment, disputed arrears, enforcement actions or accounting discrepancies.
01
Review the original proceedings, jurisdiction, service and due process, judgment dates, prior appeals, finality rules and filing deadlines to identify whether a recognized basis for relief may exist.
02
Prepare a jurisdiction-specific motion to reopen, vacate or obtain other relief only when the reviewed facts and applicable procedure support it. Reopening does not automatically authorize discovery or relitigation.
03
Examine payment histories, credits, disputed arrears, accounting discrepancies, potential overpayments and improper collections. Assess available correction, restitution or reimbursement procedures; correcting an account does not necessarily permit recovery of previously paid support.
Our discovery-centered approach carries forward the applicable review of jurisdiction, service, standing, statutory authority, original complaints, supporting evidence and financial verification. Historical allegations are distinguished from verified evidence. Any discovery must have a separate, legally available procedural basis after judgment.
Bring the original complaint and service records, judgments and modifications, prior motions and appeal decisions, payment ledgers and receipts, arrears statements, collection notices, and satisfaction or closure records. Upload what you have and identify anything missing or unknown.
A case may not qualify for post-judgment relief. Reopening a case, vacating a judgment, obtaining discovery and recovering money are not guaranteed. Motions require verified review of the applicable jurisdiction and procedural requirements. Submitting an intake does not file a motion, stop enforcement or extend a deadline.
We provide procedural self-help and document preparation, not attorney representation. Court fees and any separately approved filing assistance are additional.
